Thiet Ung Wood Carving Village has been recognized as a tourist destination in Hanoi.

A wood carving workshop at Thiet Ung Village, Van Ha Commune, Dong Anh District.

Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Nguyen Manh Quyen, on March 18, 2025 signed and issued Decision No.1567/QD-UBND to recognize Thiet Ung Wood Carving Village in Dong Anh District's Van Ha Commune as a tourist destination.

According to the decision, the tourist site will be managed by the People's Committee of Van Ha Commune. The Hanoi People's Committee tasks the local authorities with the responsibility of managing, developing, and promoting the site in accordance with the Tourism Law and relevant legal regulations.

The Hanoi Departments of Tourism, Culture and Sports, Agriculture and Environment, Construction, Science and Technology, Health, Finance, and the City Police, along with the People's Committees of Dong Anh District and Van Ha Commune, will work together to guide, manage, and invest in the sustainable and effective development of the Thiet Ung Wood Carving Village as a tourist destination, ensuring compliance with city and national regulations.
