Meet Europe 2018 conference opens in Ha Noi

VGP - Meet Europe 2018 is taking place in Ha Noi to promote investment and business, as well as priority areas for co-operation in the time coming.

Organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam (MOFA) and supported by EuroCham Viet Nam to promote investment and trade between Europe and Viet Nam, including Ha Noi.

Meet Europe is an opportunity for local government leaders, Vietnamese businesses, and EU partners to discuss issues, create linkages, and widen co-operation in economic and trade ties as well as investment.

At the conference, Vietnamese localities will be updated on information on the situation, prospects, opportunities, and challenges of co-operation between Viet Nam and the EU, especially in the context that the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) is expected to be signed this year.

The representatives of Ha Noi city will present specific projects to attract investment into industry, real estate, services, and infrastructure in the city, as well as explain the changes in investment policies and orientation.

As the Viet Nam-EU relationship is growing, the conference is expected to bring realistic benefits for both sides’ business communities.

This is a good chance for Ha Noi and the surrounding provinces to seek co-operation opportunities with foreign partners and lure investment into sectors of their demand.
