The delegation visited and presented flowers to congratulate the officers and soldiers of the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Unit at Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park, under the jurisdiction of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit of Thach That.
The unit was officially established and began operations on June 3, 2025, based at the Fire Prevention and Fighting Station within the Hoa Lac Hi-Tech Park. It is fully equipped with specialized vehicles and equipment, and maintains a 24/7 on-duty force, ready to deploy for firefighting and rescue operations whenever incidents arise.
Speaking at the inauguration of the unit, Colonel Pham Trung Hieu, Head of the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Department, affirmed that the activation of these units in key localities is an important policy directed by the leadership of the City Police Department.
This is a concrete step in shortening the response radius for fire and rescue operations, facilitating the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force in effectively performing their tasks of basic investigation, area management, timely approach, and rapid handling of arising fire and explosion incidents, thereby contributing to the safety of lives and property of the people.
On the same morning, the working delegation also inspected the preparations for the establishment of the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Unit under the jurisdiction of Chuong My.
Here, Colonel Pham Trung Hieu requested the unit commanders to urgently conduct surveys and fully prepare conditions in terms of infrastructure, personnel, and equipment, while strengthening coordination with the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force of Hoa Binh Province (the adjacent unit) to be ready to support each other in fire fighting and rescue operations, especially in high-risk border areas for fire and explosions.

Colonel Pham Trung Hieu inspected the preparations for establishing the Fire Prevention, Fighting and Rescue Police Unit at the Fire and Rescue Local Team in Chuong My.
Following the inspection, the delegation held a working session with the Hoang Mai Fire Prevention and Rescue Unit to assess the progress and conditions necessary for the unit’s early deployment.
According to evaluations, Hoang Mai District hosts numerous businesses, residential areas, wholesale markets, and industrial zones, many of which pose high risks of fire and explosion. The operation of the unit is expected to play a crucial role in enhancing readiness and ensuring timely response to potential incidents.
The establishment of the Fire Prevention, Fighting, and Rescue Police Units is a key element in the overall modernization plan for the Capital's Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Force, ensuring it develops in a disciplined and elite direction, gradually building a "rapid response network" to enhance the effectiveness of fire prevention and rescue work, meeting the requirements and tasks in the new situation, and contributing to maintaining security and order in the city.
