Standing Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, Le Hong Son, has issued Plan No. 377/KH-UBND on December 23, 2024, outlining the organization of fireworks displays in Hanoi for the Lunar New Year celebration of 2025.
The event aims to create a joyful and festive atmosphere for Hanoi residents as they celebrate the traditional Lunar New Year. It also encourages productivity and achievements in honor of the major anniversaries of the city and the country in 2025.

According to the plan, there will be 30 locations with 31 fireworks displays, including high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks. Specifically, there will be 10 sites for high-altitude fireworks combined with low-altitude displays and 21 sites for low-altitude fireworks. The high-altitude fireworks will total 6,000 rounds, with 600 rounds per site, while the low-altitude fireworks will total 3,420 sets, with 120 sets per site.
The fireworks will last 15 minutes, from 00:00 to 00:15 on January 29, 2025 (New Year's Eve of the Lunar New Year At Ty).

Hanoi Capital Command will lead coordination with relevant city departments, districts, and towns; transporting fireworks and equipment; contracting with Company 21 Co., Ltd. to supply sufficient guns, fireworks, and synchronized equipment. Collaborating with Hanoi Police for security, order, and fire safety measures.
Meanwhile, Hanoi Police will develop plans to ensure public security, social order, and traffic safety. Preparing fire prevention and firefighting resources at fireworks sites and handling any emergencies.
The Hanoi People's Committee will ensure tight coordination among all forces, detailed planning, and strict organization of the fireworks displays as scheduled. Guaranteeing absolute safety for personnel and equipment before, during, and after the displays.
