The exhibition showcases more than 400 valuable documents carefully selected to recreate the heroic journey from the August Revolution, when President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence at Ba Dinh Square on September 2, 1945, to the country's achievements today.

The exhibition is presented in four main sections: "The Communist Party of Vietnam – The Decisive Factor in the Victories of the Vietnamese Revolution," "The August Revolution of 1945 – A Great Turning Point in the Nation's History," "The 1945 Declaration of Independence and the Birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam," and "Vietnam on the Path of Development – Achievements and Prospects."

The exhibition offers readers the chance to revisit the autumn of independence and the nation's glorious milestones over the past 80 years through the books and newspapers preserved by the Hanoi Center for Culture and Library. It also serves as an occasion to foster patriotism, inspire self-reliance and resilience, and promote the heroic tradition and great national unity. The event encourages innovation and integration, contributing to the building of a prosperous, civilized, and modern capital city and to the broader cause of national construction and defense.
