The "July Promotion Fair" opened on the evening of July 30 and runs until August 3, 2025, at Roman Square, An Binh City Urban Area, located at 232–234 Pham Van Dong Street, Phu Dien Ward. Visitors can shop at 100 booths offering discounts of up to 50%.

The fair also features a commercial street, a digital technology area, and interactive zones such as "Touch Technology – Smart Living" and "Artificial Intelligence – Connecting the Future." Consumers can explore and support the "Proudly Made in Vietnam" product zone.
Attendees can join entertaining games and win prizes through interactive programs like "Guess the Price – Win Instantly" and "Balloon Shooter – Hunt for 0-Dollar Deals," along with daily lucky draws offering hundreds of valuable gifts. On the first day alone, the event attracted over 3,000 visitors.
Nguyen The Hiep, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasized that this is not just a consumer fair. The program serves as a tool to stimulate the domestic market, enhance the competitiveness of local businesses, and promote a modern, civilized consumer culture.
Alongside the fair at Roman Square, the promotion campaign has drawn participation from 1,000 to 2,000 businesses and retail outlets citywide. Major retail systems and supermarkets—including Central Retail (GO!, Topmarkets), BRGmart, Fujimart, Winmart, Aeon, Lotte, Co.opmart, MediaMart, Pico, Soi Bien, HomeFarm, and Hacom—are offering attractive promotions. Discounts on thousands of products reach over 50%, with additional perks for digital payments that save time and improve convenience in the digital age.

Nguyen Thi Thu Hang, Director of GO! Thang Long supermarket, noted that the 2025 campaign features many new elements. The Department of Industry and Trade, acting as the coordinator, enhanced communication efforts and provided clear guidance early on.
As a result, retailers are more proactive and aware of the campaign's goals. GO! and Tops Market supermarkets have prepared their inventory carefully, expanded their promotional product lists, and introduced creative deals to attract consumers. These include shock-price promotions, reward points, shopping combos, and discounts via mobile apps and digital platforms.
To promote cashless transactions, this year's program is supported by major tech and financial firms such as Vinaphone, Nextpay, Momo, and several banks. These partners are implementing modern payment solutions such as QR codes, one-touch payments, and in-app orders to improve consumer convenience.
Vinaphone is offering free personal digital signature creation via SmartCA, while Nextpay is providing a 50% discount on TingboxS transfer speakers for small businesses and store systems, reducing the price to about US$14 per unit (down from $28).
With a rich lineup of activities, from extensive promotions and digital technology experiences to trade promotion and Vietnamese goods advertising, the 2025 Hanoi Citywide Promotion Program is expected to foster strong connections between production and consumption. It will also contribute to domestic demand and revenue growth for businesses.
The program supports the city's 2025 targets of achieving over 8% gross regional domestic product (GRDP) growth and increasing total retail and consumer service revenues by 14%, in line with Directive No. 04/CT-UBND issued on March 28, 2025, by the Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee.
