Accordingly, in order to address issues such as excessive waste on streets and sidewalks, the shortage of public toilets, and the lack of free drinking water stations, the People's Committee has requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to take the lead.
The request also aims to ensure thorough preparation and attentive service for residents attending upcoming events during the 80th National Day celebrations in Hanoi.
The department must coordinate with the chairpersons of the People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Dong Da, O Cho Dua, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, and Hai Ba Trung wards, as well as with relevant departments and agencies, to conduct on-site inspections, review practices, and improve plans.
Measures should include placing trash bins and public toilets at suitable locations and ensuring access to free public toilets.
The goal is to provide residents with efficient, safe, and well-prepared services. The department must also proactively handle and decide on immediate issues and report to the city's People's Committee in cases where matters fall beyond its authority.
The chairpersons of the People's Committees of Hoan Kiem, Cua Nam, Ba Dinh, Ngoc Ha, Giang Vo, Dong Da, Lang, O Cho Dua, Kim Lien, Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam, and Hai Ba Trung wards must continue inspections, reviews, and coordination with relevant forces regarding preparation and service delivery within their areas of responsibility.
