The Hanoi Housing Development and Investment Corporation (HANDICO) plans to fully meet its 2025 business and production targets, heard its year-end meeting on December 24.
It will effectively implement its restructuring plan, enhance competitiveness, and expand its business operations through 2025 and beyond.
HANDICO also pledged to advance its key initiatives in Party building and socio-political organization development for 2025, and accomplish the objectives set for the 2020-2025 term.
In addition, HANDICO aims to successfully organize Party congresses at the grassroots level for the 2025-2030 term, leading up to the 6th HANDICO Party Congress for the same term.
In 2025, the company expects to recruit 30-50 new Party members, whilst 75% of Party members perform their duties well, and the number of outstanding Party organizations account for 20% of the total Party organizations.
General Director Pham Tien Duc reported that HANDICO's business results this year fulfilled 80% of its targets set forth in 2020-2025 as per the 5th HANDICO Party Congress Resolution.
HANDICO's total production and business value in 2024 reached nearly VND46 trillion (US$1.8 billion, equal to 81% of the five-year plan), total revenue exceeded VND41 trillion ($1.6 billion, equal to 87% of the five-year plan), tax payment amounted to VND4.8 trillion ($188 million, equal to 84% of the five-year plan), and profits surged to VND5.6 trillion ($220 million, exceeding the five-year target by 54%).
HANDICO also completed a personnel restructuring project, and implemented Project No.06 on reviewing and streamlining its Party organizational structure and enhancing Party member management.
Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan speaks at the meeting.
Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan commended HANDICO for its comprehensive achievements in 2024, meeting all business and production targets.
He emphasized that 2025 is a pivotal year for accelerating progress, achieving breakthroughs, and accomplishing the socio-economic development goals set for 2021-2025.
"This year is also important because it is also the year for Party congresses at all levels in preparation for the 14th National Party Congress," he said.
The Deputy Chairman urged HANDICO to continue aligning its operations with the Party's policies, resolutions, and government regulations while leveraging its strengths and favorable conditions.
He stressed the importance of fostering solidarity, creativity, and flexible leadership, maximizing resources to meet business targets in 2025.
The company must prioritize Party building, strengthen socio-political organizations, and organize successful Party congresses for the 2025-2030 term, including the 6th HANDICO Party Congress, Tuan said.
He said that it is important to implement the plan on business restructuring, streamlining, and innovation to enhance and improve the company's competitiveness and business operations.
Digital transformation, ensuring progress, quality, safety, and efficiency in projects, and adopting advanced technologies are the keys to improving construction and expanding HANDICO's brand nationwide, he said.
"Most importantly, HANDICO must maintain its role as a leading player in housing and urban development, especially building affordable homes, resettlement areas, and renovating old apartment buildings," Deputy Chairman Tuan said.
